No. PlanIt EPOS works with standard keyboard-wedge barcode scanners, thermal receipt printers and label printers, on Windows, macOS, iPadOS or Android. There is no proprietary till you are obliged to buy.
Yes. Card payments are recorded as a tender against the sale, so you can carry on with your existing terminal and rates. Stripe is available if you also want customers to pay invoices online.
Sales, VAT summaries and customer balances export in standard formats for your bookkeeper. A direct accounts integration is on the roadmap rather than shipped — we would rather tell you that now than imply otherwise.
In most cases, yes. Products, customers, opening balances and supplier price files import from CSV or Excel, and supplier price lists can be imported from PDF. We do the first import with you during onboarding.
