The short version
This website sets nothing beyond what is strictly necessary until you choose otherwise. If you select “essential only” in the banner, no analytics runs at all — the scripts are not loaded, not merely told to ignore you. You can change your choice whenever you like using in the footer.

This is stored in your browser’s local storage rather than as a cookie, which means it is never transmitted to us. It is exempt from consent because without it the site cannot honour your preference.
Analytics — only with your agreement
If you accept analytics, we use it to understand which pages are useful and where people get stuck. It tells us that a page was viewed; it does not tell us who you are, and we do not use it to build a profile or to target advertising.
Where a cookieless, aggregate-only analytics tool is used, it sets no cookies and stores no identifier on your device at all.
What we do not use
- Advertising or retargeting pixels
- Cross-site tracking of any kind
- Social media embeds that set cookies before you interact with them
- Session recording or heatmaps
Changing your mind
Use the link in the footer, or clear this site’s data in your browser settings, which resets the choice entirely and brings the banner back.
You can also block cookies in your browser. Because this site depends on none of them, that will not stop anything from working.
The PlanIt EPOS application
The application at app.planitepos.com is a separate matter. It stores a session token and a local copy of your catalogue and pricing on the device, which is what allows a till to keep trading with no internet connection. That storage is strictly necessary for the service to function and is covered by the customer agreement rather than by this policy.
