Account customers
Credit accounts with terms, limits, aged debt and statements, plus site-level contacts so deliveries reach the right person.
Builders merchants
A builders merchant sells on credit, delivers most of it, and prices by volume. PlanIt EPOS is built around that: the account, the load and the price break, rather than a retail basket.
What it handles
Each of these is a working part of the platform, not a roadmap item.
Credit accounts with terms, limits, aged debt and statements, plus site-level contacts so deliveries reach the right person.
Schedule loads by date and vehicle, produce picking lists for the yard, and record proof of delivery against the order.
Stock held and reported per branch and per location within the yard, with transfers recorded as movements rather than guesswork.
Quote a full material take-off, hold the price for an agreed period, and convert to an order when the job starts.
Quantity breaks and volume pricing applied automatically, so a pallet price is not a favour someone remembers to give.
Consolidate a month of deliveries into one statement, allocate payments against specific invoices, and raise credits with a reason recorded.
On a normal day
Software for trade is judged on the awkward moments, not the demo path.
The order is priced at the volume break, scheduled onto Thursday’s run, picked from the yard against a list, and invoiced to the account on delivery.
Statements go out to every account with an outstanding balance, showing invoices, credits and allocated payments — without anyone assembling them by hand.
A transfer moves the quantity between branches as a recorded movement, so both locations show a figure you can trust.
Questions
Yes. Stock, tills and reporting are tracked per branch, and transfers between branches are recorded as stock movements. Group-level reporting rolls the branches up.
Products can carry quantity breaks so the unit price steps down at defined quantities, and customers can sit on a trade band or a contract price that overrides the standard breaks.
Yes. Lines can be marked for delivery or collection on the same order, scheduled onto a date and vehicle, and picked against a list produced for the yard.
Yes. Deliveries post to the account through the month and the statement presents them together, with payments allocated against the individual invoices they settle.
We will run the demo using your product types, your pricing structure and your account terms — so you are judging it on your own business, not a sample one.
